More than a tradition, we're an El Paso legacy. In 1941, Lorenzo was a fry cook at a trolley car restaurant on Alameda and Copia. In 1944, his wife, Angela, joined on as a waitress. Lorenzo and Angela's drive and determination motivated them to start their own chain of restaurants, the Hamburger Huts. Lorenzo and Angela, the innovators of foods like the round hot dog, delicious menudo, and, homestyle burgers, became the owners of one of the first successful 24 hour restaurants in El Paso.
